Offshore Wind Energy On the Seacoast: Opportunities and Challenges

Offshore Wind Energy On the Seacoast: Opportunities and Challenges

Do we really need offshore wind turbines in New Hampshire? What are the impacts on wildlife, commercial fishing, and shipping? A community presentation and conversation with experts and citizens, with time for your questions. Panelists will include Doug Bogen of the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League, Nick Krakov of the Conservation Law Foundation, and Peter Whelan, commercial fisherman and former Portsmouth City Councilor. They'll give you the facts about offshore wind energy installations, and talk about the disinformation spread by fossil fuel companies to prevent its construction. Wind Energy: it saves the air, the ocean, and your hard earned money. Please join us for the conversation.
